Masala Chaas - Yogurt Cooler

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp black salt or regular salt
  • 1/4 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp green chilli chopped optional
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tsp chopped cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup water


  • Blend all the ingredients together. Check for salt and season to taste.
  • Refrigerate it for 20 minutes or serve immediately.
  • Divide into 3 servings, garnish with some slivered mint leaves or chopped cilantro leaves.
